How to beat Tapu Fini in Pokemon GO Raid guide, weaknesses and counters

The Alola season in Pokemon GO is coming to an end in a few weeks, however the last of the island’s rangers comes with introducing Tapu Fini to raids and this is our raid guide on the best way to take them down.

Tapu Fini will be joining raid battles in Pokemon GO starting May 10 at 10:00 a.m. local time as a level 5 raid boss and will participate in raids until May 25 at 10:00 a.m. local time.

The reason Tapu Fini is now in raid battles is that the focus of the Alolan season moves toward Poni Island later this week with the Water Festival 2022 kicking off on Thursday, despite Tapu Fini arriving two days earlier.

Tapu Fini Pokemon GO Weakness

The Land Spirit Pokemon Tapu Fini is a Water/Fairy type Pokemon, which gives it a series of Pokemon GO strengths and weaknesses that will be important when fighting them in raids.

The bad news here is that there are no super effective double writes against Tapu Fini, as there are no common weaknesses between the two types. As a result, there are only three weak points in Poison, Electric, and Grass.

Tapu Fini is also resistant to many species that you may want to avoid at all costs, including Dragon, Fighting, Fire, Bug, Water, Dark, and Ice.

Best Counters for Tapu Fini In Pokemon GO

Like the other island rangers, Tapu Fini’s battles shouldn’t be too difficult, but it’s also no walk. As a result, you can probably beat it with 3 trainers if you have the maximum friendship level and the best counters ever. However, it would be better to have only four to five trainers to make it easier for you and not risk losing a raid card in the process.
